Mikel Hawks- Pacific Northwest Creative Director
As an athlete from a small town in VA, Mikel understands how easy it can be to find your identity in sports. Sports left his life in early college and he asked, “Who am I now?” Thankfully, a group of young men came alongside him in a discipleship journey where they did life in a circle. Their love for him and investment in him lead him to attend an FCA Camp in 2014 where he finally saw that his true identity and sonship was in Christ alone. Since then he has been passionate about doing the same for others through local church leadership, creative outlets and storytelling. Mikel serves the Pacific Northwest as our Creative Director, hoping to help other coaches and athletes asking the same question, “Who am I now?”
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ exciting local radio program, Heart of the Athlete, airs Saturdays at 9 am MST on KBXL 94.1 FM. The show is hosted by local FCA Director, Ken Lewis. This program is a great opportunity to listen to local athletes and coaches share their lives, combining sports with their faith in Jesus Christ each week!
